LaRouche Calls for Mobilization
To End Libor Crime, Demands Criminal
Prosecutions and Glass-Steagall
To Stop Mass Murder

July 13, 2012 (EIRNS)—In a statement issued today, Lyndon LaRouche called for a mass mobilization to expose the murderous effect of the systemic financial crime known as the Libor (London interbank offered rate), which has ripped off and devastated nations through its fraud; and to move immediately to ram through the implementation of a new system, beginning with the Glass-Steagall banking separation.

At the center of the Libor crime are the world's leading international banks, and both the U.S. Federal Reserve and Treasury—specifically Timothy Geithner and Ben Bernanke. These men, and their boss Barack Obama, deserve to be immediately thrown out of office, and prosecuted for crimes, including murder.

Just a preliminary picture of the results of the fraudulent fixing of the Libor rate, which is used to set interest rates for hundreds of trillions of dollars of financial transactions internationally, shows that the fraud resulted in the mass looting of cities and states in the United States, and other nations—to the point of causing mass murder as the result of creating slums, cuts in services and jobs, and bankruptcy in hundreds of locations worldwide.
