Rogers and Steger To Host Emergency Town Hall Meeting on Drought Crisis from Texas to California

April 8, 2014 (EIRNS)—LaRouche Democrats Kesha Rogers and Michael Steger are hosting a joint Texas-California town hall meeting on April 12, which will present the emergency stop gap measures to be taken now, to deal with the already deadly effects of a long term nationwide drought. It will begin at 3 pm in San Antonio, and 1 pm in San Francisco.

Rogers, who is running for the Democratic Party nomination for Senate in Texas, and Steger, who is running for the Democratic Party nomination for the 12th District in California, have put the drought crisis at the center of their campaigns. They argue that survival requires dumping Obama’s frankly genocidal green policies of wasting our water, food and land for biofuels and fracking, and immediately launching the JFK-era continental water reclamation project, the North American Water and Power Alliance XXI.

This meeting will be held on site in San Antonio and San Francisco, and broadcast live on Google Hangouts on Air. The video and locations can be accessed on the candidates’ websites: michaelsteger.us, and kesharogers.com.
