PRESS RELEASE

Why Doesn't Obama Tell His California Supporters the Truth?

April 25, 2011 (EIRNS)—This release was issued today by the Lyndon LaRouche Political Action Committee.

This was the question posed by EIR's Bill Jones at today's White House Briefing. Again we see that the President is just not levelling with the people about the effects of his policy decisions on the NASA budget. The exchange is as follows:

EIR: On San Francisco, when the President was there, did he tell the people he was talking to that he was going to cut a couple of the satellites, which would have given a possibility of predicting any possible seismic activity along the San Andreas Fault, and thereby setting them in danger? Did he mention that to them?

CARNEY: I heard no such thing.

EIR. Why didn't he do that?

CARNEY: Yes, George.

EIR: Isn't that of importance —

CARNEY: No, we've covered this before. I don't have anything new.

EIR: But you never gave an answer, and the President came to the podium and said, "we cannot control earthquakes." Does he also mean we cannot predict earthquakes? That's the —

CARNEY: I don't have anything more for that on you.

EIR: Can you get an answer for me? It would be very important.
