LaRouche: NAWAPA Is
the Agenda To Save the Nation

March 28, 2012 (EIRNS)—In his March 26 dialogue with the National Slate of Congressional candidates, broadcast on LaRouche PAC-TV, Lyndon LaRouche announced a shift in organizing strategy which puts the North American Water and Power Alliance (NAWAPA) at the center. As he put it:

"We have to produce a general statement behind all programs which identify what the solution is, the practical solution, for the economic crisis of the United States today. The only program which is the basis for presentation and action is NAWAPA: There is no other program in operation, in place, to be developed which can do that job, except NAWAPA. NAWAPA then opens up the possibilities, for all kinds of things, including growth in the United States, and in relationship to other countries."

LaRouche PAC-TV has produced a detailed programmatic document. "NAWAPA XXI," which provides concrete new parameters for the major water project, and situates it within the American republican tradition, both historically and economically. It shows in some detail how NAWAPA is the means, immediately after the reinstatement of Glass-Steagall, for the restoration of a credit system, which the U.S. and the world must have, in order to destroy the British monetarist empire and survive.
