Truth in Forecasting: Create an Economic Recovery in America

This speech occurred exactly 17 years after the historic press conference LaRouche gave in West Berlin in 1988, in which he forecast the early reunification of Germany, and set forth a program for East-West cooperation to develop the economy of Poland, as a pilot-project for a broader development perspective, in the interests of all nations concerned. LaRouche’s forecast was widely disbelieved, and his policies were rejected. Instead, the free-market oligarchs held sway; the result is the economic-financial and political crisis we find ourself in today. Once again, LaRouche pinpoints the problem, and what must be done.
