Death Must Never Become the New Normal!
Ramasimong Phillip Tsokolibane submitted this statement as a greeting to the Feb. 10, 2022 Schiller Institute conference on the Humanitarian Crisis in Afghanistan.
I am Ramasimong Phillip Tsokolibane. I am proud to lead the LaRouche movement in South Africa. I send greetings and the hope of all Africa for your fruitful and successful deliberations in this solemn conference.
That wonderful lady, Helga Zepp-LaRouche, the chairwoman of the Schiller Institute, has decried how the world has turned away from the crisis faced by the war-ravaged people of Afghanistan, where 8 million people face the brutality of death by starvation and countless more could succumb to this COVID pandemic. She has rightfully demanded emergency actions to avoid these results. Action even now by the great powers could stop this tragedy.
I would remind you that Helga last year joined me in demanding similar emergency actions to deal with an even greater crisis on the continent of Africa, where disease and famine do not threaten, but are already killing millions. Nothing was done. And people are dying. Yet we hear from leaders in my country, who have all but given up on fighting the virus, that we must learn to live with it. Even as the bodies still pile up in the townships waiting for cremation, we are told that this is the best we can do.
What kind of people have we become, that we can be told to accept unnecessary loss of human life as the best we can expect? Has death become the new normal? And how many deaths are we willing to accept? Will we tolerate what that late ghoul, His Royal Virus Prince Philip, saw as necessary—the wiping out of billions to cull the human herd? Is that what is meant when we talk of seeking herd immunity?
Those who are smug, who might think that it will be only people like Africans or Afghans who will die, should do the math. In Philip’s evil calculus, there are large numbers of white people who must die as well.
Death must never become the new normal. Unnecessary death by disease or in warfare that can be prevented, can be defeated. The disciples of death must never be listened to, lest all of us pay the price for such immoral folly. Instead, I urge you to listen to the wise counsel of Helga LaRouche, who sees us as capable of so much more. Africa stands ready to fight for the future survival of the human race.
