Victoria Nuland Chumming with Arsen Avakov, Ukraine’s Co-Founder of Hit-List and Azov Brigade
Oct. 20—Arsen Avakov, the Ukrainian millionaire, who was Ukraine’s Interior Minister from the time of the Maidan coup in February 2014 to 2021, was also the co-founder of both the Nazi Azov Brigade and the Myrotvorets deathlist database. A May 16, 2015 posting from his Facebook page, shows how chummy he was with the U.S. State Department’s Victoria Nuland, a key operative for the U.S. and UK in conducting the Maidan coup to oust the elected Kiev government, and put in a NATO-approved regime.
Shown in his Facebook photos are Nuland (short, white jacket) and Avakov (to her right in the top photo). His text (machine translated):
U.S. Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland and U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt were with me today at the camp of the forthcoming New Patrol Police in Kiev. A few touches from today’s meeting, during the ongoing training. A very positive meeting. I will give you two touches:
• Together with the guys who are future patrolmen. Speaking fluent English, unlike me, one of the guys said, to me, something very important—instantly transformed from a smiling guy to a serious guy—Thank you for helping my country and not leaving us alone!
• California Highway Patrol Officers Jared and Tedford have been a great help and are going home soon. Today, on behalf of the Prime Minister—presented them with certificates of service from the Cabinet and from myself, the Minister’s award-winning ceremonial dirk. In response, as a military tradition (as befits a gift of arms)—policemen handed me a quarter dollar coin. I put it in my pocket, and we all laughed at Victoria’s bewilderment at being unaware of this ritual.
