Feb. 2—The Editor of Brazil’s Monitor Mercantil did not need to say more when republishing these economic data Jan. 31, compiled by Richard Sanders for the Jan. 30 EIR Daily Alert under the headline, “Russian vs. United States Statistics over the Years”.
Here is an idea why NATO’s 30-nation combine has not been able to “crush”, “ruin”, or “fragment” Russia with financial, military and intelligence warfare. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has a record of 23 years of steady, stubborn economic and demographic progress in a nation which was being looted by London and Wall Street to the point of depopulation and genocide in the 1990s.
Here is how that progress has compared to the same data of the United States. For each economic or demographic characteristic, Sanders compared the Russian Federation and the United States in 1999, when Putin became president, to the most recent data available for the two nations now.
