Trump Assassination Attempt Threatens Chaos in U.S.
Cui Bono?

July 14—The July 13 shooting at a Trump campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania shocked the nation and the world, bringing the country literally to an inch away from total chaos. For the first time in decades, a President or Presidential candidate has suffered an assassination attempt, and at a crucial moment in history at that. This is not simply an attack on Donald Trump, but is an attack on the institution of the Presidency of the United States, and on that institution’s ability to respond organically, or non-linearly, in a moment of grave crisis.

Whatever details may emerge over the coming days involving the egregious security failure—or worse—that occurred on July 13, there are unmistakable processes going on at the strategic level which should inform our thinking. Trump has found himself in a type of crosshairs of history, less because of anything he has done than because of the weight of events which he has found himself surrounded by.

Consider this attempted assassination in light of the fact that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán concluded his “peace mission” last week by visiting Mar-a-Lago, Florida to meet with Trump, in the wake of the NATO summit in Washington. This is the same Orbán whose friend, Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico, was also shot and nearly killed on May 15 in an attempted assassination not even two months ago. These realities remind one of the International Assassination Bureau, and its role as an enforcement mechanism for the vestiges of today’s British imperial system—including over the U.S. Presidency. As The LaRouche Organization’s report, “Stop NATO’s World War: Dismantle the International Assassination Bureau,” put it in February 2023: “It is striking, to anyone who dares think about it, that any world figure, including emphatically, any American President, who intends to pursue a policy of peace and development, comes under immediate attack in various ways. Media attacks and slanders, coups and color revolutions, legal assaults and assassinations are the tools of the trade of an international assassination bureau, that seeks to strike terror into populations and demoralize them into accepting the dictates of an unelected body of Anglo-American oligarchs who make and brutally impose their ‘rules-based order’ on the globe.”

No honest person could deny that the world stands poised on the cusp of a new epoch today. There are many facets of this that one could point to, but perhaps the most significant one is that the efforts of the West to “isolate” Russia and shift global opinion to their narrative of the “existential threat to democracy” has utterly failed, and is seeing more and more breaks in the dam by the day. Seething, and further worried about a Trump victory in November, NATO and the pro-war Western establishments took the opportunity at last week’s NATO summit in Washington to make even further escalations against Russia, stationing long-range missiles in Europe and concretizing plans to “Trump-proof” the Alliance’s structures for years to come. Now, Britain’s RUSI is calling on the U.K. to “emphasize” its nuclear deterrent and play more of a leading role in NATO.

There is a frantic effort underway to maintain control over this collapsing unipolar world order, and this—not the elections in November—is the issue at play.

Over the next three and a half months, the United States is going into an unprecedented period of instability, a fact which is intentionally being stirred up. Those who take the bait and descend into partisan politics will miss the music of what is actually unfolding, and will probably make the situation even worse. Instead, take an insight from Independent Senate candidate in New York Diane Sare, who on July 1, only two weeks ago, warned of the possible assassination of Donald Trump, given the current mad rush to thermonuclear war with Russia, and the contrasting modest statements by Trump in opposition.

This is why Russian President Putin’s June 14 peace proposal for Ukraine must be taken up, and fast. It represents an extended hand to the U.S. and West, a proposed new security architecture that can be a bridge from the current tragedy of a global civilization-ending war to a potentially respectful relationship with other leading nations on the planet.

That is how the U.S. Presidency can be saved from the currently threatened jaws of doom.
