LPAC-TV Releases Must-See Video:
'FCIC Report: The Moral Test'

Feb. 11, 2011 (EIRNS)—In the midst of a literal countdown as to whether the FDR-era Glass-Steagall Act will be reinstated in time to ward off impending disaster from a new financial-economic explosion, LaRouche PAC-TV has issued a new "must-see" video on the critical points made by the recently released report of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission. "FCIC Report: The Moral Test," a 32-minute video, presents the leading findings of the FCIC report, compared with what the world's leading forecaster, Lyndon LaRouche, has said on record over the past 40 years.

The conclusions of the FCIC report are quoted, and interspersed with both the history of criminal actions taken by the so-called financial experts, and the history of LaRouche's warnings and prescriptions for a solution. Revealed is a "trail of treachery" leading directly to the White House, including the current occupant, whose office has done its best to bury the FCIC report.

Among the leading features of the video is the exposure of the systematic efforts by individuals such as former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, to dismantle the FDR Era regulations which were put in place to protect the American people and a commercial banking system oriented to production. With the Fed committed to promoting what the FCIC report calls the "shadow banking system," no wonder the official regulators failed to do their job in stopping the creation of the largest, and most destructive, financial bubble in modern history.

Particularly striking is Greenspan's Nov. 22, 1987 testimony before the House Banking Committee, shown with C-SPAN footage, where he specifically recommends the repeal of Glass-Steagall, intoning that such action would create a "more flexible framework" and produce a "manageable increase in risk." Trillions of dollars of bailout, millions of foreclosures, and untold misery later, we can now see what Mr. Greenspan means by "manageable."

After concluding with the FCIC Report's statement that the risk to a financial system blowout today is as great, or greater, than that in 2007-2008, LaRouche PAC narrator Anna Shavin tells her viewers: "It is time to learn from the past, and determine the future. Remove Obama from office, and take back control of the country, and pass Glass-Steagall."

The most rapid viewership of this video will greatly help in achieving that objective.
