Lega Starts Mass Organizing for
Glass-Steagall as Political Parties
Disintegrate in Italy
April 21, 2012 (EIRNS)—Despite the disarray produced by the legal and media attack on their movement, the Lega Nord has today started the campaign for the Glass-Steagall Bill that has been introduced in the Italian Senate. About a hundred tables have been set up in the weekend in as many towns and villages in the provinces of Milan, Pavia, Sondrio and Varese. This is covers only part of the territory and shows that a large section of the party is blocking for on this campaign. The target is to collect 50,000 signatures in order to introduce the bill into Parliament. Movisol, the LaRouche co-thinker movement in Italy, has issued a call to its supporters to sign the petition.
