Her Majesty's Voice:
Obama Tells Africans
'Forget Modern Living Standards'

July 3, 2013 (EIRNS)—Answering questions at the Young African Leaders Initiative Town Hall, held at the University of Johannesburg-Soweto in Johannesburg, South Africa, on June 29, President Obama responded to a question about U.S. foreign policy and the environment by letting Africans know that they should never expect to attain modern living standards. Obama said:

"But let me make one last point. The United States cannot do it by itself. And the biggest emitter of carbon right now is China. They still have a much lower carbon footprint per person than the United States, but because they have so many people, it's going up rapidly. And Chinese leaders understand this. The same thing that's sending all the carbon into the atmosphere is also making it difficult to breathe in Beijing. So they recognize they've got to come up with a new development model. India is going to have to come up with new development models—Africa."

..."Ultimately, if you think about all the youth that everybody has mentioned here in Africa, if everybody is raising living standards to the point where everybody has got a car and everybody has got air conditioning, and everybody has got a big house, well, The Planet Will Boil Over—unless we find new ways of producing energy."

On his Africa trip, Obama promoted, for Africa, fossil fuels (gas and oil), hydro, plus the most inefficient forms of energy: solar, wind, geo-thermal, and on a scale far below what would be required to provide electricity to all of Africa. Without electrification, the African continent is condemned to continuing genocide—just what Obama's controller, the Queen, is demanding.
