New German Book Warns against West as Threat to World Peace

Oct. 4, 2018 (EIRNS)—Gabriele Krone-Schmalz, German journalist and author with a longtime special focus on Russia, has written a new book on why cooperation with, and an instant end to provocation of Russia, are indispensable for keeping the peace in Europe and the world. She charges that the Western world model is being aggressive, and is the source of the problem:

“The world economic order no longer deserves the term ‘order.’ Aggressive speculation and a mix of perversion and cynicism are putting everything out of joint. Stock exchanges, that are like houses of cards and will collapse at the slightest breath of wind, have replaced real generation of value and facts. Psychology, dubious rankings, and opinion-making decide on the bankruptcy of human beings, firms, and sometimes even of states.”

There can be no substitute for creating a different world order, which must necessarily include Russia, which is the largest state in the world in landmass, Krone-Schmalz writes in a passage, published as a preview of her book Why We Need Peace and Friendship with Russia, which is now available in bookstores.
