Italian Under Secretary of Economic Development Geraci Brings His Ideas to Washington

Nov. 29, 2018 (EIRNS)—Italian Undersecretary of Economic Development Michele Geraci is in the United States, where he is having several meetings with U.S. government officials, members of Congress, and individuals in the Italian-American community and world of finance. Yesterday he met Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Jeffrey Gerrish, with whom he discussed the Geraci Plan for foreign direct investment, and told him that U.S. sanctions against German cars will also hit Italian industry, which makes 40% of their components. In meetings with members of Congress, Geraci discussed the idea of an international conference for U.S.-EU cooperation in Africa.
