Rep. Gaetz Exposes Schiff Seeking Dirt on Trump from Ukraine

Sept. 30, 2019 (EIRNS)—Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) sent out a tweet today contrasting House Intelligence Committee Chair Rep. Adam Schiff’s disgusting lies about President Donald Trump and his July phone call to Ukraine’s new President Volodymyr Zelensky, to an audio-clip from a prank call to Schiff from a Russian comedian in 2017. The comedian posed as the Nazi-supporting Andriy Parubiy, then-Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, offering Schiff a sleazy exposé on Trump.

The transcript of Gaetz’s tweet, including recordings of Schiff now, and then:

Schiff: [on ABC News “This Week,” Sept. 29, 2019] “What we have seen in that call record is a President of the United States use the full weight of his office to manufacture dirt on his opponent and interfere in our election.”

The video captioning then reads: “But Schiff was caught on tape trying to talk to Ukrainian officials who he thought had dirt on Trump.”

Schiff: [in 2017] “So you have recordings of both [Russian journalist Ksenia] Sobchak and [Russian model Olga] Buzova where they’re discussing the compromising material on Mr. Trump?”

[Fake] Parubiy: “Absolutely!”

Schiff: “Well, obviously we would welcome a chance to get copies of those recordings.”

The tweet video returns to Schiff’s ABC interview yesterday.

Schiff: [Sept. 29, 2019] “It is illegal, improper, a violation of oath, a violation of his duty to defend our elections and our Constitution, for the President to merely ask for foreign interference.”

The video captioning then reads: “Schiff apparently has two standards—one for himself, and one for President Trump.”

Note that on Sept. 16, the Ukraine State Bureau of Investigation, now under the new government of President Zelensky, launched a criminal investigation against the vile Andriy Parubiy, regarding his role in the “mass riot” in Odessa, in which 42 Ukrainians who opposed the neo-Nazi coup, were burned alive on May 2, 2014. The 42 people had been driven by the Nazi mob into the Trade Union Building, which was then boarded up and set on fire, all broadcast live on the Internet around the world. According to Ukraine’s UNIAN Information Agency last week, Parubiy himself reported the SBI investigation proudly on his Facebook page, boasting of the Odessa “mass riots,” that “I did everything possible to protect Ukraine.”
