The CrowdStrike Admission of ‘No Evidence’ that Russia Hacked the DNC Goes Almost Unreported

May 9, 2020 (EIRNS)—Other than EIR coverage of the admission by CrowdStrike Services President and Chief Security Officer Shawn Henry that they had absolutely no evidence that e-mails of their client, the Democratic National Committee (DNC), were hacked and “exfiltrated” (extracted) by Russia, or by anyone else, the story was nearly blacked out of the U.S. press. EIR has known and published this for years: Former National Security Agency technical director Bill Binney has shown in several different ways, that this fact could be known forensically, if anyone else had cared to investigate, as he has done.

The extremely damning aspect of Henry’s testimony is that the Congress and the Special Investigator Robert Mueller’s team have also known this for years, and have simply lied as they continued the witch-hunt.

The only coverage showing up in searches other than EIR was a Tucker Carlson report Friday night, quoting Henry’s admission, then running numerous quotes from Adam Schiff, from after the Henry Congressional testimony, declaring he had clear evidence of Russian collusion, and even telling Carlson on his show: “Absolutely, the government of Vladimir Putin was behind the hacks of our institution and the dumping of information.”

The Falun Gong rag Epoch Times covered a different aspect, as part of their effort to appear as Donald Trump’s big defender, while trying to start a war with China. Epoch Times reports that Henry also testified, along with the Perkins Coie lawyer for the DNC, Michael Sussman, that the FBI declined an open invitation to inspect the DNC computers and server—contrary to former FBI head Jim Comey’s testimony that the FBI was denied access by the DNC.

From the transcript, Sussman, while claiming that CrowdStrike gave the FBI all they needed from their own investigation, admitted that the FBI refused the invitation: “I recall offering, or asking or offering to the FBI to come on premises, and they were not interested in coming on premises at the time. But we—we said we’d make anything available to them.” Asked if the FBI asked the DNC directly to have access, Sussman answered: “No, they did not..., not to my knowledge.”

Late on Saturday, Ray McGovern, like Binney a member of the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, who collaborated in exposing the Russiagate hoax, published a report on the Crowdstrike admissions on Consortium News.
