House Passes Bill To Make Marijuana Menticide Legal

Dec. 5, 2020 (EIRNS)—The U.S. House of Representatives yesterday passed H.R. 3884 to decriminalize marijuana, reading in short: “Specifically, it removes marijuana from the list of scheduled substances under the Controlled Substances Act and eliminates criminal penalties for an individual who manufactures, distributes, or possesses marijuana,” by a vote of 228 to 164, with 6 Democrats voting against it and 5 Republicans voting for it. The Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act, as it is called, is unlikely to pass the Senate. It was passed as an “anti-racist” bill, since more blacks are arrested for marijuana possession, etc., than whites.

Moreover, other features of the act would: establish a trust fund to support various programs and services for individuals and businesses in communities “impacted by the war on drugs,” and impose a 5% tax on cannabis products to pay for the trust fund; make Small Business Administration loans and services available to entities that are “cannabis-related legitimate businesses or service providers”; prohibit “denial of federal public benefits to a person on the basis of certain cannabis-related conduct or convictions”; prohibit the denial of benefits and protections under immigration laws on the basis of a cannabis-related event.”

Should it become law, Dope, Inc. can destroy the brains of more blacks, whites, and Hispanics, and Her Majesty can wrack up the funds of her latest Opium War, as EIR warned in 1978, when Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation took over its first American bank.
