Trump and Others Denounce Courts for Failure To Allow Hearing

Dec. 12, 2020 (EIRNS)—Donald Trump, his lawyers and associates all denounced the Supreme Court’s rejection of the Texas filing Friday night, Dec. 11, emphasizing that no court in the land allowed a hearing on the massive evidence compiled on the extensive vote fraud in the Presidential election. The Court ruled only that Texas lacked standing: “Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections. All other pending motions are dismissed as moot.” Justice Samuel Alito, joined by Justice Clarence Thomas, stated in the ruling: “In my view, we do not have discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction.... I would therefore grant the motion to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief, and I express no view on any other issue.”

The President issued tweets on the failure of any court to hear and rule on the evidence: “ ‘Justices Alito and Thomas say they would have allowed Texas to proceed with its election lawsuit.’ @seanhannity This is a great and disgraceful miscarriage of justice. The people of the United States were cheated, and our Country disgraced. Never even given our day in Court!”

He also called for the fight to continue:

“So, you’re the President of the United States, and you just went through an election where you got more votes than any sitting President in history, by far - and purportedly lost. You can’t get ‘standing’ before the Supreme Court, so you ‘intervene’ with wonderful states that, after careful study and consideration, think you got ‘screwed’, something which will hurt them also. Many others likewise join the suit but, within a flash, it is thrown out and gone, without even looking at the many reasons it was brought. A Rigged Election, fight on!”

Earlier, he quoted Fox’s “Ingraham Angle” talk show, tweeting: “ ‘Don’t the voters have to know what the Federal prosecutor’s know. The establishment failed us. The media, congressional leaders, the Democrat Party? No wonder 74 (a pres. record) million Americans voted for Donald Trump, & they still don’t believe the outcome of this election. The American people deserve answers, better late than never.’  @IngrahamAngle.”

Jenna Ellis, the lawyer working with Rudy Giuliani on the fraud case, told Newsmax Friday night:

“We’re looking at when the Electoral College is actually counted by Congress, that date in January; that’s the date of ultimate significance, and the Supreme Court has recognized that. So we still have time; the state legislatures still have time to do the right thing. They can inquire, they can hold hearings, they can reclaim their delegates, and they should. And I hope that now all of the evidence that we have brought forward in these hearings will give them the inspiration and the courage that they need to act.”

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani appeared on Fox’s Hannity program, denouncing the failure of the Court to “at least” granting a hearing. McEnany said: “They dodged, they hid behind procedure and they refused to use their authority to enforce the Constitution. You know, we’ve gone state by state, Sean, outlining the egregious equal protection violations, the due process claims that were entirely ignored.”
