Chief of Staff to Defense Secretary Miller Files $50 Million Defamation Suit against CNN

Dec. 13, 2020 (EIRNS)— Kash Patel, the chief of staff to Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller, has filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against CNN and several of its top reporters, Fox News reports. His suit says that CNN reporters promoted “unfounded left-wing political narratives,” including: “Trump Loyalist Connected to Biden Conspiracy Theories Is Leading Pentagon Transition,” and that Patel “blocked Biden’s intelligence transition team from meeting with agencies.” It says CNN and the named reporters “deliberately or recklessly conveyed a false message” to sensationalize the “news” and humiliate Patel.

Patel was a top aide to then-House Intelligence Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes in exposing the lies peddled by CNN and other media outlets in the Russiagate hoax for the past four years. He was appointed soon after President Donald Trump fired Mark Esper as Secretary of Defense and appointed Christopher Miller as Acting Secretary, who was willing to follow the orders of the Commander-in-Chief, as Esper was not, to pull America out of the “endless wars.”
