Putin on Upcoming Summit with Biden

June 4, 2021 (EIRNS)—At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, President Vladimir Putin was asked about his June 16 summit meeting with President Joe Biden. He responded that the goal is to strengthen U.S.-Russia relations, which are at a low point. Terrorism, the pandemic, and the environment are the three main agenda items.

He said that too often U.S.-Russia relations are used as domestic U.S. political issues, which hinders bilateral relations.
