Only a Commitment to a New Paradigm Can End the Causes of War

April 7, 2022 (EIRNS)—The kind of peace that could prevail in the world right now is a terrifying, existential threat to the Anglo-American empire. And that drives its desperation for warfare of the endless (or nuclear-apocalyptic) variety, along with the intentional and worldwide economic disruption brought about through the fast-growing sanctions regime.

No energy to power your workplace? Too bad, we have to stop Putin!

No fertilizer for your crops? That’s the price of freedom!

No food for your children? Let them eat democracy!

Their intent to prevent a peaceful settlement between Ukraine and Russia comes from a commitment to crush the sovereignty and development of Russia and China as their rivals, but their desperation is driven by the collapse of the Anglo-American empire’s primary means of exerting control—the financial system whose terminal decay means the end of an era, and a branching point in history.

Down one path lies destruction. The vote in the UN General Assembly to oust Russia from the Human Rights Council (a vote meeting the two-thirds majority of voting members, but not even a bare majority when counted on a population basis) represents the reckless disregard for truth characteristic of the mad rush to crush all things Russian. The vote was premised on the alleged atrocities in Bucha (which you may have seen before in such movies as “Chemical Weapons in Douma,” starring the White Helmets), and was directed by an increasingly aggressive Anglo-American-NATO-EU elite.

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan has refused to slavishly follow directions from the U.S. and U.K. to attack Russia. Now he faces a no-confidence vote on April 9, organized on U.S.-U.K. orders.

The lead EU organizer of anti-Russian sanctions and asset freezes, Ursula von der Leyen’s chief of staff, Björn Seibert, has significant British connections, including his membership in the oldest British think tank.

Britain’s ambassador to the UN has scolded African nations for choosing to simply stay out of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. She claims that the only way to ensure reliable food supplies is to bring about the defeat of Russia.

The true path to food security is to junk the various green initiatives that seek to reduce the world’s population, and instead replace the grotesque financial system with one of physical and scientific development, oriented around achieving improvements in the productive powers of labor and of the physical and social infrastructure platforms capable of supporting the creation of economic value—through qualitative improvements in our understanding and mastery over nature. This is the basis for a lasting peace.

Ensuring Ukraine Prevails Is Now the Only Moral Choice,” proclaims Keir Giles for Britain’s Chatham House, in an article that insists that a ceasefire would be “toxic” and that continued media coverage of atrocities are Ukraine’s “most powerful weapon for winning the war.”

Against this absolute insanity is the LaRouche movement’s phenomenal online event this Saturday—the Schiller Institute’s Conference To Establish a New Security and Development Architecture for all Nations.

The opening panel features leading speakers from Europe, the U.S., Russia, China, India, and Africa: Helga Zepp-LaRouche, Ambassador Anatoly Antonov, Sam Pitroda, Jay Naidoo, Chen Xiaohan, Alessia Ruggeri, and Ambassador P.S. Raghavan. It will be followed by three individual sessions on Economy, Security, and Development, with distinguished speakers from all over the world, among them Prof. Justin Lin, Dr. George Koo, Saeed Naqvi, Princy Mthombeni, Jacques Cheminade, Caleb Maupin, Diogène Senny, Mike Callicrate, and others.
