Kremlin Spokesman Insists, ‘The U.S. Has Certainly Declared Economic War on Russia’

March 9, 2022 (EIRNS)—Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded today to remarks issued on March 8 by U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, to the effect that, “from the U.S. perspective, the end game is the strategic defeat of President Putin in this adventure” in Ukraine. Peskov replied: “The U.S. has certainly declared economic war on Russia, and they are waging this war. Yes, de facto they are.”
