Colonel Macgregor Wonders Whether U.S. Would Accept Russia-Ukraine Peace Agreement

March 20, 2022 (EIRNS)—Appearing on the Tucker Carlson show March 17, retired Col. Douglas Macgregor wondered aloud whether the U.S. would accept a peace agreement hammered out by Russia and Ukraine. “The war really is over for the Ukrainians. They have been ground to bits. There’s no question about that, not like what we report on our mainstream media,” he said.

“So the real question for us at this stage is if there is an agreement, Tucker, are we going to live with the Russian people and their government or are we going to continue to pursue the sort of regime change dressed up as a Ukrainian war? Are we going to try to stop using Ukraine or anybody else as a battering ram against Moscow which is effectively what we’ve done? We really, really need to live with these people as opposed to kill them. I don’t have an immediate answer but some body needs to deal with this because we do cohabit the planet.”
