Will the U.S. Cooperate with Russia, China and Others To Set Up a New Global Credit System?

June 8, 2022 (EIRNS)—“The $64 million question is: Can we get the United States to cooperate with Russia, China, Europe and other nations to set up a new global credit system, which would be the solution to this crisis?” That was the opening challenge posed to viewers by Helga Zepp-LaRouche in her weekly international webcast. The founder of the Schiller Institute continued:

“The whole world right now is in such turmoil. There is a war danger, and there are those who want the war in Ukraine to continue until Russia is ruined. But there are also many countries now that do not want to be drawn into a geopolitical conflict between the United States, on the one side, and Russia and China on the other side. There are those who are pushing for negotiations to get peace in Ukraine.

“But the big question is: Can the United States be brought into the combination of countries that address the fact that the financial system is about to blow out in a hyperinflationary collapse, or not? Because that, in all likelihood will be the question which will determine the outcome of this horrendous crisis.

“Now the good news is that there are forces in the United States who are for that policy. That is very little known in the rest of the world because the mass media are uniformly blacking us out. But the LaRouche forces internationally just achieved a major breakthrough in the form of Diane Sare collecting and submitting far above the required 45,000 signatures to be placed on the ballot as a LaRouche independent candidate for U.S. Senator from New York state, in the upcoming November elections. She will be the leading voice for LaRouche’s economic program to return to Glass-Steagall, to have a national banking system in every country, to go for a new credit system internationally, and to launch a crash program for a fusion power and space cooperation to increase the productivity of the world economy. So, this is really good news.”

Zepp-LaRouche went on to emphasize that the nearly 800,000 views of the Schiller Institute interview with Col. Richard Black (ret.) were another powerful indication that there is opposition to Washington’s present course of confrontation.

“So, there is hope that the United States can go back to the policies of the American revolution, the policy of Lincoln, FDR and Kennedy, and that we can solve this crisis in a peaceful manner,” Zepp-LaRouche stated, reminding viewers that these will be the central topics addressed at the upcoming June 18-19 Schiller Institute conference, “There Can Be No Peace Without the Bankruptcy Reorganization of the Dying Trans-Atlantic Financial System.”
