New York City Helpfully Explains How To Stay Safe in a Nuclear Attack

July 12, 2022 (EIRNS)—Have you been wondering what to do in the case of a nuclear attack? Don’t worry, New York City’s NYC Emergency Management has made a helpful public service announcement (PSA) to explain the three steps: (1) get inside (2) stay inside with windows closed and (3) stay tuned for news and wireless updates.

Did you get those steps? “All right? You’ve got this,” the narrator confidently concludes. Now, that doesn’t sound so bad, does it?

But in the first moments of a nuclear blast, there will, of course, be no “inside” and no people to go there, since they will all have been vaporized. Is this video a practical joke? Or do the people publishing this nonsense actually believe it?

The best advice to stay safe is to prevent nuclear war!

It’s unlikely that New York City will make a PSA video on that subject...
