Global Fascism—Assassins and the Azov Regiment

Sept. 3, 2022 (EIRNS)—There is an obvious and disgusting connection between recent mass shootings and assassinations which has been systemically censored from the accounts by the mainstream media: The Christchurch slaughter of over 50 Muslim New Zealanders in March 2019; the young Buffalo gunman killing 10 Black Americans in May 2022; and the attempted assassination of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, the Vice President and former President of Argentina, on Sept. 1. The media accounts have noted that the mass killers and assassins have all had Nazi tattoos on their bodies—the “Black Sun” (Schwarze Sonne) worn by the Nazi SS and the Wolfsangel adopted by the Nazis—as well as links to Nazi and neo-Nazi articles and websites on their social media accounts. What these media accounts leave out is that such Nazi symbols are found all over the Azov Regiment and other Nazi organizations in Ukraine, as tattoos and decorations on their uniforms and flags.

The reason this connection is censored is obvious: The U.S., British and EU governments are financing, arming and promoting the Nazis in Ukraine, as “freedom fighters” for “democracy,” based on the simple brainwashing formula that all things Russian are bad and all things “Western” are good. The British Empire’s evil spokesman Bertrand Russell is brought to mind, who insisted that with an adequate power over information one can convince anyone that snow is black.

Then consider that the President of the United States—or rather, those who prepare his teleprompter speeches—has now essentially called for civil war in the United States, declaring: “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic,” President Biden raged on Thursday, Sept. 1, in Philadelphia, adding that the Trump supporters—recall that Trump received over 74 million votes in 2020—represent a “clear and present danger” to the nation. He earlier referred to Trump supporters as “semi-fascists,” and called on Americans to take action—presumably in the manner we dealt with fascists in the past. “We are not powerless in the face of these threats,” Biden said. “We are not bystanders in this ongoing attack on democracy. There are far more Americans, far more Americans from every background and belief, who reject the extreme MAGA ideology than those that accept it. And folks, it’s within our power, it’s in our hands, yours and mine, to stop the assault on American democracy.”

According to Yahoo News, a member of Biden’s own domestic terrorism task force said of the President’s speech: “I fear he is lighting a fuse that is not going to go well. Sadly, this is not a united speech but a very divisive one.” Another from the same task force said: “This could be viewed as a call to arms and only inflame an already volatile threat environment.”

Note that Biden is using the same absurd rhetoric which we hear repeatedly to justify the demonization and war-mongering against Russia and China—“democracies vs. autocracies.” Consider: We are called to defend such “democracies” as Ukraine, which has shut down the leading opposition parties and is in the process of banning them permanently and confiscating their possessions—see “The Banning of Political Parties in Ukraine” in the issue of EIR to be with the cover date of Sept. 9. Or the “democracy” in the U.S., where any comment which challenges the approved “narrative” is censored from the media. Or the “democracy” in Germany, where the Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock declared that the German people “will have to suffer because we will support Ukraine no matter what,” and this will be the case “no matter what my German voters think.”

Consider seriously the message from the Russian Embassy in Washington today: “We have taken note of the condemnation by the U.S. State Department of violence and hate ‘everywhere’ with regard to the assassination attempt on Argentine Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner. However it’s obvious that American diplomats intentionally turn a blind eye to the extreme beliefs of the alleged criminal, his ‘black sun’ neo-Nazi tattoos typical of the Azov battalion (designated in the Russian Federation as a terrorist organization).” They also note the Buffalo shooter’s similar admiration for the Azov militia the U.S. is arming and funding, asking:

“A question arises: how many more people around the world must be affected by the actions of Nazi ideology supporters before the U.S. realizes its dangers and stops condoning the nationalists’ crimes. That is exactly what the U.S. is doing in Ukraine where the Kiev regime fighters continue to intentionally exterminate the civilian population.”

This move to global fascism under the direction of Global NATO is finally provoking a serious backlash. On Wednesday Sept. 7 at 11:00 a.m. EDT, EIR is sponsoring a press conference in which many of those leading citizens from around the world who were targeted as “information terrorists” and “war criminals” by the Ukrainian would-be “Ministry of Truth”—the U.S.-funded Center for Countering Disinformation—will present the evidence against that Nazi apparatus, demanding that the U.S. and other Western nations end all funding and shut it down.

On the following day, Sept. 8—which would have been the 100th birthday of EIR’s founder Lyndon LaRouche—demonstrations will be held internationally calling on those of good will everywhere to celebrate LaRouche’s life by demanding that the current descent into a new dark age be replaced with “peace through development,” implementing LaRouche’s program for a New Bretton Woods to replace the collapsing dollar-based financial system which is now destroying the lives and the livelihood of billions of people in the trans-Atlantic and the Global South. Only by this means can the nations of the world be brought together to create a new architecture for security and development for all.

Then, on the weekend of Sept. 10-11, political leaders, economists, musicians, and others will unite for a Schiller Institute online conference under the theme “Inspiring Humanity To Survive the Greatest Crisis in World History.” Join us.
