Former Senator Black in Substantial Interview on CGTN

Sept. 5, 2022 (EIRNS)—CGTN aired 15 minutes of a 65-minute interview with former Virginia state Senator, Col. Richard Black (ret.) on Sept. 4. Titled “Col. Richard Black: U.S. Foreign Policy Heading in the Wrong Direction.”  Discussion in the interview began on U.S. policy in Afghanistan. The full 65-minute interview from Sept. 1 is aired with interviewer Li Jingjing’s program “Talk It Out with Li Jingjing.”

In addition, Li taped an interview with the Schiller Institute’s Hussein Askary, on the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and end of British geopolitics. Askary, based in Sweden, spoke of Lyndon LaRouche’s centennial on Sept. 8 and his importance for today’s world. That interview will be broadcast shortly before the Sept. 15-16 SCO summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
