Kiev’s Cold-Blooded Coverup of Cold-Blooded Murders Only Leads to ‘More Horrific Crimes’

Nov. 23, 2022 (EIRNS)—Daniil Bessarabov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for State Building and Legislation, responded to yesterday’s desperate charade by Ukrainian Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, who had charged the 10 executed Russian prisoners with “imitating a surrender.” Bessarabov told TASS: “It’s a pathetic attempt by the stupefied government in Kiev to dodge responsibility. The world was shaken by that news. Not just Russia, but also the world community. A cold-blooded murder of captured servicemen by shots at the back of the head. Kiev is trying to dodge responsibility by coming up with counter-accusations.”

Then Bessarabov hit the nail on the head: “Impunity breeds more impunity, more horrific crimes. This must be understood by the world community.” Finally, he indicated the way forward: “I fully support the efforts of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation to establish all the facts, the whole picture of the crime in order to collect evidence and present it to an international tribunal, where the leaders of this Kiev regime, not just the perpetrators, will go on trial.”

Meanwhile, broadcaster RT has reported that Ukraine’s 80th brigade, the unit that carried out the brutal murder of the 10 Russian soldiers had worked closely with NATO and the U.S. Sputnik’s report on the RT video explains that a former Ukrainian member of the brigade, who had defected to Russia after Ukraine executed his father, testified that those deployed in the 80th brigade were taught to hate everything Russian long before 2022. U.S. troops, including forces with the Marine Corps, were involved in the training of the brigade, the soldier said.
