As Zelenskyy Travels To Receive Charlemagne Prize, Leaked Transcripts Reveal Delusional Warmonger

May 14, 2023, 2022 (EIRNS)—The Washington Post on May 14 published some blockbuster revelations regarding Volodymyr Zelenskyy based on the previously leaked documents on the Discord website. In a meeting in late January Zelenskyy suggested that Ukraine conduct strikes on Russia while moving Ukrainian ground troops into enemy territory “to occupy unspecified Russian border cities” which would give Ukraine “leverage” in future peace negotiations. Less than two months later, Ukraine launched a cross-border raid on the town of Bryansk that left two people dead. A member of the group told Western media that Kiev had approved the attack, and further assaults have taken place since.

In late February in a meeting with Ukraine’s top military commander, Zelenskyy complained about lacking missiles with long-range capabilities that could reach Russian troop deployment locations in Rostov, in southern Russia. Prior to and after this reported meeting, Ukraine conducted drone attacks against infrastructure in Rostov.

In a meeting in mid-February with Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, Zelenskyy suggested that Ukraine “blow up” the Soviet-built Druzhba pipeline that provides oil to Hungary, which would seriously affect the Hungarian economy and undermine the Orbán government, which has criticized the unlimited military support to Ukraine. The Russian press has already indicated that these revelations confirm their suspicions that Ukraine is behind some of the terrorist operations and killings of pro-Russian and Russian activists in Russia today.

Speaking today in a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Zelenskyy, without mentioning the revelations that have been widely covered in the international press, said that Ukraine had no interest or capability in attacking Russia, but was preparing to make its coming counteroffensive. Volodymyr Zelenskyy called these allegations “fantasy” and assured, “We are not attacking Russian territory, we are liberating our territory.”
