Memorial for Glass-Steagall

May 31, 2013 (EIRNS)New York State, home state of Alexander Hamilton, became the 21st state to have a Memorial urging Congress to support the restoration of the Glass-Steagall Act and H.R. 129, put before it on May 29. K490 was introduced by Assemblyman Phil Steck, a Democrat of Schenectady, along with 19 cosponsors, three of whom are Republicans. The Memorial has been referred to the Committee on Banks.
